  5. VEGETABLE FARMING (TOMATO, PAPRIKA, BRINJALS, CHOUX CHOUX, COURGETTES etc)
  6. DRIP IRRIGATION AND OTHER EFFICIENT WATERING METHODS
  7. RENEWABLE ENERGY SOLUTIONS (BIOGAS PRODUCTION, SOLAR ENERGY)

Consultancy Services are provided in:

  1. Project Proposals Development
  2. Monitoring and evaluation of projects
  3. Advisory services in crops and livestock production
  4. Outsourced research and field data collection services, e.g. surveys
  5. Diseases and pests diagnostics and management
  6. Conference technical documents packaging and facilitation services.
  7. Development of agricultural information resources (brochures, booklets, manuals, etc)
Some past projects
1. Collaborator in banana macropropagation project implemented in partnership with Kenyatta University, Kenya Agricultural Research Institute and farmers in Central and Eastern Kenya (funded by RUFORUM).
2. Support to passion fruit project implemented by KARI, Kenyatta University and farmers in Embu, Meru, Eldoret and Elgeyo in Rift Valley.
3. Project on management of leafspot diseases of strawberry.
4. Project to optimise multiplication rates for herbs and spice plants.
3. Project to optimise tissue culture of sweet potato implemented in partnership with Kenyatta University.
4. Consultancy to Assess Quality Management Systems in the Kenya National Domestic Biogas Programme implemneted by KENFAP, SNV, HIVOS and other partners.

Afternoon 1pm -4pm Dairy Farm Visit

The Theory will take place in Westlands, Nairobi, Madonna House room 305.

Departure to the farm will be from Westlands to ESTE FARMS in Thika.
